Early Voting Process

Election workers verify the voter's registration status through the KNOWiNK Poll Pad. If registered, the voter is validated and receives a Paper Ballot to vote on. Once the voter has completed voting their Ballot, the voter inserts their Ballot into the Verity Scan unit. If the voter is not registered, they must register to receive a Ballot.

Upon validation, the database is updated preventing the voter from voting again in the Election. Early Voting Ballots are tabulated after the Polls close on Election Day.
