Community Services Programs 

Seniors

Programs for those 60 years or older

  • Adult Protective Services
    Responds to reports of abuse or self-neglect for those who are 60 or older and for those who are 18 and older with a disability. Call (630) 407-6500, Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M, or (866) 800-1409 after hours and on weekends, to report suspected abuse. All calls are confidential. 
  • Community Care Program
    Helps those 60 years or older with household tasks and personal care, emergency home response systems, and adult day services. 
  • Home Delivered Meals Screenings
    Arranges to have meals delivered to homebound seniors.
  • Long Term Care Ombudsman
    Educates residents in long-term care facilities and their family members on their rights and helps to address any issues.
  • Money Management
    Trained volunteers assist seniors in making decisions about money, including assistance. 
  • Choices for Care
    Helps individuals who are age 60 and older to explore options for long term care, including home and community-based services.

  • Clothing and Household Good Vouchers
    Vouchers to access clothing or household goods through various community partners.
  • Transportation
    Provides transportation for residents within the DuPage County area.
  • Healthcare, Food, and Financial Application Assistance
    Assists with completing applications for programs that can provide medical insurance, food, and financial assistance.
  • Scholarship
    Annual scholarship for higher education.
