Responsibilities
CMAP is the
official regional planning organization for the northeastern Illinois counties
of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will.
CMAP developed and now guides the implementation of “On to 2050,”
metropolitan Chicago’s new long-range plan to help the 7 counties and 284 communities of northeastern Illinois implement strategies that address transportation, housing, economic development, open space, the environment, and other quality-of-life issues.Meeting Schedule

The (1) DuPage County member
is appointed cooperatively by the mayors of DuPage County and the Chairman of
the County Board.Compensation
Board members receive no compensation, but are reimbursed for expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.Qualifications
Applicant must be a resident
of DuPage County.Composition
CMAP is governed by
a board consisting of (15) voting members and non-voting members. All members
are appointed pursuant to the Regional Planning Act (70 ILCS 1707/), including
