NOTICE: Winter moratorium on lane closures and/or pavement open-cutting is in effect from November 15 through April 15 annually. The only exceptions, with proper advance notice to and approval by the DPC DOT, are for emergency utility repair work (i.e. gas leaks, water main breaks, etc.). This policy is in effect to allow DPC DOT Highway Maintenance Department staff/equipment the ability to properly prepare/maintain the roadway pavement prior to and/or during snow fall events.
