DuPage County Stormwater Management is hosting a FREE “Routine & Long-Term Maintenance for Detention Basins” webinar on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from noon to 1pm.

Detention basins require periodic maintenance and upkeep to function properly. Mary Beth Falsey, Water Quality Supervisor, DuPage County Stormwater Management will review best practices for routine, scheduled maintenance, as well common problems and solutions that will help to maintain detention basin functionality. Some activities may be done in house, while others may require assistance from professional contractors. Potential funding sources for larger projects will also be discussed.
