Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR)
State law, as well as local ordinances, requires that we publish, within six months of the close of each fiscal year, a complete set of financial statements presented in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and audited in accordance
with generally accepted auditing standards by a firm of licensed certified public accountants. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, (ACFR), is a summary of the County's fiscal affairs.
Since Fiscal Year 1987, DuPage County has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting award for our ACFR from the
Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The award recognizes that the County published an easily readable and efficiently organized annual comprehensive
financial report.
If you have any questions regarding the ACFR or any other financial documents, please contact the Finance Department.
