Impact Fee Program Information & Forms
Beginning December 1, 2021, all Impact Fees will be processed at the DuPage County Division of Transportation counter and will no longer be processed at DuPage County Building
and Zoning. Please also note that as of December 1, a new Ordinance and Impact Fee Schedule will be in place. Please check the information below for new forms, procedures and rate schedules.
The DuPage County Fair Share Road Improvement Impact Fee Program began in 1989. Its intent is to assist the County in financing highway capital improvements that are made necessary by new development. Fees are assessed on NEW DEVELOPMENT throughout the
County, regardless of whether the development is in a municipality or is in unincorporated DuPage County. Fees are also collected whether a new development is located adjacent to a County highway or to a State or village road.
