Title: Senior Staff Assistant - Records

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs a week

Salary: $17.27/Hour

Description of Provider's Work

  • Performs various routine clerical duties, e.g. (utilizing standard office equipment, including: screening incoming calls, taking and transmitting messages, maintaining calendars, keyboarding information into databases, making photocopies, performing data entry, faxing documents, typing, and word processing)
  •  Acts as a counter clerk or receptionist, receiving individuals and, or directing them to the proper location
  • Composes original form letters
  • Receives, sorts, distributes and reviews mail independently attaching relevant file(s) and responding to basic mail requests either verbally or in writing
  • Files documents alphabetically, numerically, or by other prescribed methods
  • Provides and interprets information regarding department policies, procedures, and programs to the public
  • Supervises or checks, and examines and reviews the receiving and processing of records and other standard forms
  • Compiles data for special studies, annual reports, and other purposes using prescribed sources
  • Prepares complex worksheets and tables and makes mathematical and basic statistical computations
  • Acts as a lead worker; utilizes a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, and communication
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies in accordance within records division
  • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality

Education and/or Experience

  • Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma equivalent; One year of experience in Data Entry or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

  • Base pay of 17.27/Hour
