Assistant State's Attorneys 

Assistant State's Attorney positions are hired on an as needed basis. If you are interested in applying, you must: 

  • be a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois
  • submit a resume with cover letter 

Non-attorney Positions 

In addition to Assistant State's Attorneys, the State's Attorney's Office employs investigators, paralegals, legal secretaries, and administrative staff.
