The Early Voting program allows any eligible DuPage County voter to vote before Election Day.
All locations are 100% compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Early Voting at the DuPage County Fairgrounds (Building 5) begins Thursday, February 23, 2023.
The Fairgrounds location will be open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon) until March 20, 2023, when additional locations will open for voting. See the full list of locations below.
Temporary Early Voting Locations in DuPage County
- Are available 15 days prior to (first day) and 3 days prior to (last day) an election.
- Are open Monday through Saturday (no Sunday hours).
- Weekdays: 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Permanent Early Voting Locations in DuPage County
- Are available 15 days prior to (first day) and 1 day prior to (last day) an election.
- Are open Monday through Sunday.
- Weekdays: 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Weekends: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Early Voting Process
Election workers verify the voter's registration status through the KNOWiNK Poll Pad. If registered, the voter is validated and receives a Paper Ballot to vote on. Once the voter has completed voting their Ballot, it is inserted into the Verity Scan unit. If the voter is not registered, they must register to receive a Ballot.
Upon validation, the database is updated preventing the voter from voting again in the Election. Early Voting Ballots are tabulated after the Polls close on Election Day.
