Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
DuPage Care Center provides exceptional outpatient therapy services to the community. This includes physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists use therapeutic modalities to prevent, identify, correct, and compensate for orthopedic and neurological disorders. The therapists address issues with mobility that include strengthening, transfers, walking, and balance.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists improve functional skills needed to return to activities of daily living. These activities include bathing, dressing, and the ability to manage in the home. Occupational therapists also work with individuals to provide adaptive equipment or simplify the task to conserve energy to maintain independence in daily life.
Speech Therapy
Speech-language Pathologists are trained to diagnose and treat speech and language deficits such as aphasia, voice, and decreased cognitive function. They also diagnose and treat oral-motor deficits such as swallowing. The DuPage Care Center does not offer Speech Therapy Services to children.
