Local ARPA Program
Since May of 2021, DuPage County Board Members, Departments, Elected Officials, and staff have been meeting to strategize on how to best allocate ARPA funds. A result of this work, the DuPage County Board (“Board”) has committed $7 million for a Local ARPA Program (“LARPA”). The LARPA Program provides funding to local government agencies for ARPA eligible expenses. Local governments included are Fire Districts, Park Districts, and Townships. Municipalities are excluded from LARPA funding because the U.S. Department of the Treasury provided approximately $167 million in direct ARPA funding to municipalities located in DuPage County. This page provides additional information, resources, forms, and links on the LARPA program for local government staff.
