DUI Offenders Residing Outside Illinois - Treatment Instructions
Do not begin counseling until the provider is approved by DUI Court Sentence Monitoring.
Locate a counselor provider:
- Look up Substance/Alcohol Abuse in a local phone book
- Contact your local Adult Probation Department and request referrals
- Utilize https://www.samhsa.gov/find-treatment
Call listings and find a provider that is state-approved. Ask if they provide DUI treatment. Explain the level of counseling and treatment hours required by your sentence.
If they can offer this type of counseling, ask the provider to contact DUI Court Sentence Monitoring at (630) 407-8960 or (630) 407-8961 or by email at probationcourtmonitoring@dupageco.org.
Once we discuss your treatment requirements with the provider, we will either approve or deny the provider's treatment program. If we deny the program, you must continue this process until you locate a provider with an acceptable treatment program.
