Terms Used in Publication List
Fair Cash Value (Land, Building, Total, and Pro-Rate): The components of the assessed value broken down into an allocation for the land and building portions of the value. A pro-rate is an additional assessment for a new building that was not complete as of January 1st of the tax year.
Dual Value (Dual Land, Dual Building and Dual Total): The components of the preferential assessed value granted under 35 ILCS 200/10-155 (Open Space Property).
