Positive identification and next of kin notification has been confirmed of the 9-year-old victim, Sania Daniels, in the shooting incident on Lee Street on March 5, 2023. The victim was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room where she succumbed to her injuries. Further investigation is ongoing by the DuPage County Coroner's Office in conjunction with the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County States Attorney's Office.
