Environmental Division
Welcome to the Environmental Division section of the County's website where Waste, Recycling, and Green Initiatives are found. Our aim is to inform the public about environmental issues impacting their health, well-being and safety and provide recycling
opportunities to both residents and businesses.
The categories in this section are full of great resources for identifying
recycling and disposal locations and learning about
green buildings,
water conservation, and
energy efficiency.
Additionally, the County is a recognized leader in addressing environmental concerns. The
2011 Environmental Progress Report lists many of our accomplishments and ongoing programs. The County is proud of its green achievements and we will
continue to be on the forefront of environmental issues.
